I am thrilled to be part of the Royal Scottish Academy of Art’s National Exhibition, set within the historic museum built in the 1820s with fluted columns and extravagant gargoyles, just another gem in the grandeur of Edinburgh.
The night started with a winding queue of guests, dressed to the nines in suits and kilts, greeted by a tartan-clad bagpiper to a night of artistic celebration.
Inside, the walls and spaces were filled thoughtfully and incredibly so, with diverse artworks and architectural studies all showing a diverse and eclectic mix of styles and genres and to see my piece among them was a real delight.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with the buzz of conversations. The night was long and happy, jolly with a warmth brought by champagne and people eager to share their passion for art.
